Catherine "Cass" Wilson, MEd.

Professional Counselor

Cassie earned her BA in communication studies with a specialization in interpersonal communication from Rowan University. After spending some time working at an elementary school with children placed in special education, she went on to earn her MEd. in counseling psychology from Temple University. Cassie draws from multiple modalities including attachment theory, family systems theory, and narrative therapy to tailor each therapeutic journey to every client's needs. She helps individuals, families, and couples learn to communicate effectively and empathically in order to overcome their relationship concerns.

Cassie is devoted to creating a therapeutic space of warmth and safety for clients to explore the relationships they have with themselves as well as with others. Knowledge is power and with power comes healing. She believes that we can become more empowered to live our lives more meaningfully by understanding the impact of the stories we learn through our lives, as well as the ones we tell ourselves, on our thoughts and feelings.
