Natalie graduated from Goddard College with a BA in psychology and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a concentration in Expressive Art Therapy. Previously, Natalie worked as a psychiatric nurse in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This work inspired her to pursue a degree in counseling with the goal of being able to play a more direct and personalized role in the therapeutic process.
Natalie believes that each person is an active participant in their own healing. Her goal as a therapist is to support clients to trust their own wisdom. She integrates a variety of modalities using traditional talk therapy as well as experiential, trauma-informed, holistic, mindfulness-based approaches. She is a certified EMDR counselor and has experience in psychodrama. She is currently training with the Center for Council, with the intent to facilitate groups that support the development of effective communication skills, self-expression without fear of judgement, cooperation, and resilience.
Natalie offers counseling for adolescents, adults, couples, and groups. She has experience working with people from many different backgrounds, survivors of trauma, domestic abuse, and addiction.
