Angelina Meeker is a clinical mental health therapist providing individual and group counseling. Angelina earned her BS in Psychology from Lock Haven University and her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Angelina is a National Certified Counselor. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in community and outpatient settings.
Angelina provides individual and group therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Her clinical experience includes assisting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and grief and loss. Some of Angelina’s other interests include self-esteem, self-acceptance, and life-change adjustment. Angelina strives to treat every client with unconditional positive regard and empathetic understanding. She understands that every person is different and therefore their ability to manage the world around them is individualized to their experiences. She approaches therapy as a collaborative experience with a focus on empathy, understanding, and empowerment. Angelina utilizes a client-centered and humanistic approach. Angelina utilizes modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, eclectic therapy, compassion-focused therapy, existential/mindfulness, and rational emotive behavior therapy. Angelina strives to create an environment of peace, comfort, and safety for individuals to share, explore, and express themselves. Angelina believes that empathy, empowerment, and self-exploration are key tools to become the best version of one’s self.
